"I had an excellent day fly fishing with Buenos Aires Fly Fishing and would highly recommend them. I was a solo angler visiting Buenos Aires and specifically wanted to target Golden Dorado on the fly. From the beginning, the communication was excellent. Joaquín was very honest about the challenges of winter Dorado fishing and kept me updated on the river, tide, wind, and weather conditions rather than making unrealistic promises. The day itself was fantastic. The guides worked incredibly hard to put me in the best possible positions and adjusted our approach according to the conditions. I ended up catching three Golden Dorado on fly. They weren't trophy fish, but catching three Dorado in August was a fantastic result and made for a very memorable day. The equipment, boat, lunch, and overall organization were all excellent. They were also extremely helpful with the transportation logistics. I arranged my own Uber to the marina, and the team was waiting for me when I arrived. At the end of the day, when it wasn't easy to get an Uber from the marina, Joaquín went out of his way to take me to a location where I could easily get a ride back to Buenos Aires. What impressed me most was how professional and genuine the whole experience felt. I never felt that I was being promised more than the conditions could realistically deliver. The team was focused on giving me the best chance possible to catch fish, and clearly know the river very well. For anyone visiting Buenos Aires and looking for a genuine Golden Dorado fly-fishing experience, I would definitely recommend Buenos Aires Fly Fishing. I had a fantastic day and would happily fish with them again."
